Wet Watercolour Day in the Village Hall

Today I joined the weekly art group in the small Village Hall. They were very welcoming and encouraging.

I am learning Flower by Flower. I have a long way to go. ( See if you can guess what these are). Today I leaned, by observation, that oil and acrylic painting and pastels are even harder, perhaps requiring skill and persistance. I have decided to stick to watercolours.

I also learned that I can't paint dogs and should stick to flowers.

So I made a small diversion into Chooks

Well...you have to start somewhere:)

    I think they're Opium poppies! You are doing OK Kathy, enjoying yourself, that's the main thing.
